A Family Centered Approach

LifeWorks believes that the greatest potential for change lies within the context of the child’s family—not during one hour a week in a therapist’s office.  Our role is to provide the support, guidance and knowledge needed by families to build strong foundational skills and relationships.

Furthermore, LifeWorks recognizes that when one child has been impacted by less than optimal experiences, a ripple effect occurs, touching upon each member of the family. 

LifeWorks utilizes family therapy interventions that work to not only build weak or lacking foundational skills in the child, but that strengthen the family unit as a whole.

Lifeworks staff members work along all points of the attachment continuum.  Because clinicians have had extensive training in various schools of thought surrounding attachment strains, they are able to tailor intervention to fit each family’s individual needs.
