Chiropractor Matthew Gianforte DC

Dr. Matthew Gianforte, DC, graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa in 2005. He and his wife, Dr. Meredith Gianforte have been working together to help patients achieve maximum health.

Dr. Gianforte specializes in the functional medicine approach to ensure each of his patient’s are healed from the inside out from: digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, allergies, auto-immune conditions, weight loss and metabolic dysfunction. He believes that healing comes from within and finding the underlying cause of the problem is the key to achieving optimal health.

Chiropractor Jill Brown DC

Dr. Matthew Gianforte, DC, graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa in 2005. He and his wife, Dr. Meredith Gianforte have been working together to help patients achieve maximum health.

Dr. Jill Brown, DC is a 2007 graduate of Cleveland Chiropractic College in Overland Park, Kansas. She has been working to educate and improve the quality of life of her patients. Dr. Jill was first introduced to chiropractic due to a sports injury in competitive softball. The ability of the body to perform and heal itself has always been important to her and she has been passionate about spreading awareness ever since.

Dr. Jill has a special interest in children since having her first child in February 2013. She was able to experience firsthand how chiropractic care can make pregnancy and labor easier on the mom and baby. She has also witnessed the positive effects of regular adjustments on the health of her son who has been regularly adjusted since he was two weeks old.

Doctor Angela Garner MD

Dr. Angela Garner, MD, has been practicing medicine for over 20 years. Dr. Garner is an internist and a hospice director. She has always been passionate about helping others as she enjoys volunteering her time in other countries to help people get the medical care they need.

Dr. Garner believes that feeling beautiful inside and out has tremendous benefits to the overall aging process. In 2012, she opened Refresh Medical Day Spa and Hormonal Health in Overland Park, KS. Also, in 2012, Dr. Garner wanted to combine her passion to help others with her medical expertise when she joined LifeWorks.

Nurse Practitioner Erin DeStefano NP

Erin’s passion for health and wellness came from her Division 1 softball career where she endured injuries and experienced firsthand the benefits of quality rehabilitation to heal the body through correct function and prevent further injury.

She graduated from Pittsburg State University with her BA in nursing and continued on for her MA in nursing where she completed her Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree in 2015. After working as a RN and Nurse Practitioner in the ER for over 5 years, Erin’s passion for wellness and prevention of chronic disease grew as repeatedly she encountered the severity of chronic illnesses addressed in the ER setting that could have been prevented or shifted much earlier on with a wellness model. She is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal health and prevent disease.

Erin’s hobbies include traveling, enjoying friends and family, cooking nutritious foods and staying active. She recently married Tyler and they are enjoying their first year of marriage.

Doctor Corey Priest

Dr. Priest has an extreme passion for health and wellness. He loves experiencing healthy foods and being active. Over the past 2 years he has become passionate about Triathlons, competing in 5 races in 2015 and 7 races in 2016 (completed first full Ironman in 2016). He coaches his son’s competitive baseball team with a desire to be part of helping coach and develop young boys into great men. He loves anything that requires activity outdoors, including triathlons, swimming, biking, running, golfing, wakeboarding, skiing and snowboarding, riding my motorcycle, building things (anything), landscaping and working in the yard. He is proud that his biggest achievement (as cliché as it may sound) is having two healthy fantastic fellas, and watching them grow into extremely respectful, healthy boys. Dr. Priest aims to model for his boys his commitment to his family while demonstrating that hard work in career and hobbies offers positive investment in the surrounding community creating something bigger than yourself.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Blakely Page RDN

Blakely Page, RDN is married to Tom and they have a daughter Nora and their newest addition due October, 2017. Blakely is from Lawton, Oklahoma and graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2004 with a BA in Nutritional Sciences. She continued on to Kansas City to complete her dietetic internship and became a Registered/Licensed dietitian in 2005.

After working in the field for a few years, Blakely decided to pursue her passion of leadership by completing a MA in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. At the same time, she continued to study integrative and functional nutrition and nutrition supplementation while completing a functional medicine mentoring program in 2013. She has worked as a clinical dietitian, in corporate wellness, and with pediatrics through WIC, Marian Hope Center for Children’s Therapy and MaxLove Project. She enjoys writing in the field of wellness as well.

Amy Schleper dietician nutritionist

Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Amy Schleper RDN

Amy Schleper is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Diabetes Educator, who began work as a dietitian in 2009. She currently works at LifeWorks Integrative Health providing individualized medical nutrition therapy for diabetes, heart disease, gastrointestinal concerns, autoimmune disease, and other concerns. She has a long-held interest in integrative nutrition that was sparked by her own personal health journey with autoimmune disease.

Prior to her time at LifeWorks, she worked at College Park Family Care Center at two locations in Overland Park and Stanley, KS, where she also gained experience in Functional Medicine.

Her other integrative nutrition experience includes contract work with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and contract work for Genovive, Inc. as a research assistant to Ruth DeBusk, RD, PhD (a dietitian-geneticist specializing in nutrigenomics).

She obtained her Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE) credential in November of 2015. Her education includes a Master of Science in Nutrition from KU Medical Center (2013), a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Kansas State University (2008), and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from the University of Kansas (2004).

She was the lead author on a study published in Cancer and Clinical Oncology, and she was a co-author on a study published in European Urology - both published in 2016.

When she isn't in the office, she is spending time with friends and family, and singing at her church, and often just reading and studying more about various aspects of nutrition and health.

In addition to her current work at LifeWorks, she is currently engaging in a joint project to create educational workshops for clinicians in how to implement nutrigenomics (nutrition recommendations based a person's genetics). Amy currently resides in Lenexa, Kansas.
